Help: Introduction
The app is organized to help you:
- Learn (memorize) new information
- Review what you have learned so you remember it
- See how you are doing
Learning new information
“Repetition is the mother of skill.” ”Practice makes perfect”. Very true sayings, but it’s a heck of a lot easier when you repeat or practice in smart way.
The app presents 7 facts at a time for your to memorize. If you learn a card (move it to the left to mark it as one you know), it goes into the “learned” stack and is not shown again in the work out.
If you move the flashcard down, the card is kept in rotation. You’ll have another chance after seeing the other 6 facts.
The process repeats until you have learned all of the cards.
Making Sure You Remember
Ok so you know the card now. What about tomorrow, or next week, or next month ? Turns out scientific research has a lot to tell us about how to make sure you remember.
As a card is learned, we file it away along with data on how many times you have seen it previously, including your successes and failures. We use an algorithm we developed based on research done around the idea of “spaced repetition.” This algorithm schedules a review for you every day . It is setup to prevent overwhelm and ensure your mastery of the subject. Go through the auto-scheduled review each day.
Checking Your Stats
No journey is fun when you have no idea where you are. Our stats and progress give you constant feedback on how you are doing.
Try this: spend 15 minutes a day on the app for one week. If you don’t experience mastery of the information, contact us.
